A Purple Romance

Love is tough; isn’t it though? We find the right person, we like each other. It’s good for a while, and then it all blows up. Wishing for fireworks against a Parisian sky, our shredded sense of self feels like we just survived the pandemic.
 
As beautiful as love can be sometimes, it bites just as hard when it’s the wrong one or if it goes neglected.
 
We look for a space that feels like home; a sense of belonging. Our heart careens from joy to volatility like a well volleyed tennis ball. We crave intimacy, yet in its embrace find little peace.
 
A Purple Romance is a tale somewhat like this. An opportunity to understand why we struggle in relationships, and a contemplation on how things could be. A highlighting of patterns we may inhabit, but haven't brought into complete awareness.
